BLOOD SUGAR + DIABETES 2

How do we treat type 2 diabetes?

In many cases, type 2 diabetes is reversible through lifestyle intervention. Studies show that in the vast majority of cases, a simple change of diet over a few months can make medicine redundant (but never stop treatment without consulting your own doctor first).

We investigate parameters involved in blood glucose control and insulin sensitivity such as: iodine, manganese, magnesium, chromium and fatty acid balance.

In addition, we screen for factors that may contribute to insulin resistance such as gastrointestinal health and heavy metals.

Did you know that a heavy metal like mercury affects your blood sugar?

This means that if we do not identify which toxins are involved in your disease course, healthy eating alone will not help.
