Make your own health bar

September 25, 2017

Make herbs a part of your daily self-care to nourish your body+soul by setting up a few staple superfoods that you can easy throw in the blender in the morning.

Supplements are expensive, even the cheapest no-name brands - because stuff that doesn't work is always expensive no matter the cost; simply because most are loaded with synthetic and gut-damaging fillers in addition to having poor bioavailability.

As any healthnut I used to have 30 different supplements at any given time sitting in my cupboards, that I would take religiously in the morning for prevention and for targeting specific genetic health vulnerabilities from manifesting, i.e. we have breast-cancer gene on my mother's side and serotonin related addictive behavior traits running on my dad's side (vulnerability towards cigarettes/alcohol/carb cravings).

We all have genetic vulnerabilities, the key is to understand what are your inherited genes of disease, and how do you inactivate them. Genetic disposition does not mean genetic destiny, it just means that certain foods, herbs + lifestyle need to be adopted to avoid those genes from being activated, that's all there is to it.

When people say "well, I can't control it, it's genetic", that's totally non-sense. True, you can't change your genes, but that doesn't matter, since you can totally prevent those genes of disease from becoming active, if you target them with the right approach for those specific genes.

Nutrition is information that speaks to the genes and turns them on or off. Different genes require different nutritional strategies, that's why no one diet fits all. We are all genetically different and a preventative wellness approach encompassing foods, exercise and lifestyle, that match your genes is the secret to feeling great in the skin you're in.

There is no magic diet that cures every single one of us simultaneously - only the right diet for YOU.

These days I have no supplements in my cupboards (a lot of raw cacao + dark chocolate though!), but a few select body balancing herbs that I throw into my smoothie along with virgin coconut or raw cream in the morning. And that's it. So much easier, convenient and cheaper.
I get my super high quality herbs sourced according to purity + potency (just like we are what we eat, so does the potency of herbs depend on where they are sourced), grown in mineral-rich soil + organic that last a long time and work synergistic, so just a few taken together have a broad-spectrum effect and the bioavailability is almost 100% - with no nasty fillers.

Based on years of research + comparing lab values based on different supplement regimes, that's how I developed my Health Elixir™ line - which can be ordered to be custom made to match your exact health needs; shipped and delivered to your doorstep in 2 weeks flat. And naturally we redesign formula whenever you email us with new health needs.

I think that's pretty awesome - just one all-in-one-supplement that is made specifically for you, in the right ratio, the right dosage and all in a virgin coconut emulsion, so you can easily add a spoonful to your smoothie and you're good to go.

Here are the basics that go into creating a Health Elixir Bar:

Protein Powders
Hemp or Cold-processed grassfed whey (muscle/bones/fat burn, heavy metal detoxification, serotonin boost, anti-depressant)

Superfood Powders
Raw cacao (anti-aging, appetite suppressant, serotonin+dopamine boost)
Gelatinized Maca (hormone balance, libido, stamina)
Spirulina (detoxification, immune support)

Fruit + Greens
Any fruit of choice (frozen banana makes for the richest)
+ Any green leaves (methylation, DNA repair, anti-depressant)

Minerals
Himalayan Salt (just a dash; adrenal support)

Herbs
Herbs to match your health needs

That Sweet Touch
Raw Manuka Honey (anti-bacterial, antiviral, anti-diabetic)

Blackstrap Molasses (immune boost)

Maple syrup (anti-cancer compounds)
