How to choose the right whey protein powder

August 28, 2017

Whey Is One Of The Most Bioavailable Protein Sources And One Of The Only Foods To Significantly Boost Your Strongest Youth Antioxidant And Immune Defense Marker: Glutathione.

I love whey, and especially because it is a broad-spectrum superfood - meaning there is not an ailment that it doesn't cater for. The only exception being for hypersensitive biochemistry types, which will not be able to tolerate the dairy protein present. The majority of those of us dealing just with simple dairy sensitivity do well with whey.

Whey is gentle enough to even be used when dealing with kidney issues. Kidneys need specific aminos to repair, the tricky part is that once you are dealing with kidney failure they cannot handle the waste products that most protein rich foods result in - the exception being whey, as there is next to none nitrogen load on the kidneys.

A strict vegan diet for someone with weak kidneys is a disaster, as it will not repair the damage; it is absent of any damagers yes, but it is also lacking in the building blocks needed to repair kidney damage.

Certain protein sources such as meat is not ideal for weak kidneys, but you do need the aminos involved in restoring kidneys - and whey is an excellent source of that, as it has no burden on the kidneys.

Not just for restoring kidney health, but whey is a superfood for serotonin levels, appetite suppressant, antidepressant, fatburn, metabolic functioning, bone health and heavy metal detoxifier.

However, there are a lot of things in modern processing of whey that turns this superfood into toxic. Mainly heat vs. cold processing and regarding whether it's been ion exchanged. If you are eating whey made the wrong way, filled with damaged proteins, you can expect to deal with issues such as cysts, cancer, immune disorders and more.

As much as I love the right type of whey, just as dangerous is it to consume whey made the wrong way.
