Did you know anaemia may be caused by parasite infections? Typically, when you're diagnosed anemia, you're told you need iron. However, that is far from true. Anaemia can be due to several other things than iron deficiency - and many will also discover by further testing that their iron is actually quite normal, despite the fact that they have been diagnosed with anaemia. Iron is one of the minerals you certainly don't just want to take “just in case” - there are as many negative aspects of too much iron as too low. New figures from the CDC reflect that over 50 % of us carry parasite infections. Can you test for that? Not currently no - the available laboratory testing for parasites are useless as they are extremely inaccurate, so don’t waste your money or time on that. If you have traveled in India, Asia, Africa or regularly eat sushi, like your steaks rare, have pets - and if you have never taken been on a parasite cleanse, you can count on that yes, you have parasites. And if you have any of the symptoms (skin rash, constipation, anaemia, various digestive disorders) that can typically be linked to these unesthetic crawlers, then it's very simply a matter of just start treating them - because the question is generally not whether we have them, but to how much we are burdened by them. Yes, it's super gross, but only more gross is not doing anything about it. Reference: Asia Pac J Clin Nutr. 2007;16(4):716-23. Read MoreWhy stool testing for parasites is nonsense.
Parasites do not just inhabit the stool - thus testing for parasites is highly inaccurate through stool-testing. Easily we will be told that we are parasite-free, when fact is - it is more likely we have parasites than not. According to CDC 33% of Americans have parasites - and probably more. I recommend simply treating parasites 3 months with botanicals. 70% of parasites are microscopic, so you won’t see them in the toilet, but if you happen to be the lucky host of other types, they will be visible. Everybody who has travelled, eaten sushi or undercooked meat, has pets etc. they should do a parasite cleanse. And obvious symptoms are digestive issues, bloating, skin rashes, and extreme difficulty gaining weight in some cases (only if you have a tape-worm infection though). I have seen quite a few underweight men, who simply cannot gain weight for the life of them regardless of strength training - and turned out they had a most unwelcome guest in the form of a tape-worm eating up all their nutrition. A stool-test will not be accurate in detecting this in most cases - simply treat it, and see what ends up in your toilet in the next 3 months time. These critters are opportunistic and thrive in body’s with a high toxic load, and can impair liver, kidney and gallbladder functioning. Here is a study explaining how parasites inhabit different parts of our body, and thus why testing for parasites in stool is similar odds to winning the lottery (obviously no one wants to win this lottery, but hey, it is what it is) Download the study here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6842148/pdf/13071_2019_Article_3791.pdf Okay, that’s all for now folks. Moving on to a more appetizing topic. Cupcakes anyone?

Read MoreAnticancer activity of mimosa pudica
“Conclusion: The results indicated the presence of L-Mimosine in the hydroalcoholic extract of M. pudica. The hydroalcoholic extract and pure compound proved potent inhibitors of cell proliferation, thus manifesting significant antioxidant and anticancer activity.” Lately I have begun using mimosa pudica for a variety of concerns (not the least being parasite infections), and I am really impressed with the results we are getting in combination with other herbal medicines. Even anti-cancer activity has been linked to mimosa pudica. Click here to read the full study.
